Keep moving and watch the orange windups. Canine guards commit to their baton swing direction, so sidestep and punish the recovery.

Three-hit comboKeep tapping Attack to chain slash, backhand, and a stronger finisher. Your next quick tap is buffered.
Compact spinHold Attack, then release a small, low-damage circle. It costs no meter and accepted hits build Dreamburst.
Dreamburst specialLand hits or take damage to fill Dreamburst. At 100, tap Special for a longer whirlwind: two sweeping turns and a heavy circular finish. Each phase can hit once. Special hits do not refill it.
Sword thrustTap Thrust to lunge, damage and shove guards away, giving you room. It is ready again after 2.5 seconds.

Collect dropped coins and break the bronze-marked supply pots. Their bronze square-hole design is inspired by Han wuzhu coins; shop prices and coin drops are game conventions. Securing the ferry earns 20 coins once, plus 5 for each discovery. Deliver supplies, help two residents, and secure the ferry. Thrust breaks the Toll Captain’s guard; sidestep his committed charge. Buy and equip armor at Odie’s forge; Officer unlocks after the delivery for 30 coins; General after securing the ferry for 50, with Officer owned. Hone the sword for more reach. Lin sells a road tonic. Return home to rest and prepare. Coins and gear autosave on this browser. Use the save button to download a backup or import one. Getting hit gives you a brief grace period and charges your special. Training posts also help you practice the meter. Leaving the page or opening a menu pauses the encounter. Rotating cancels held or buffered moves, then play continues in the new layout.
